Galen Fields earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2007 from the University of Utah at the S.J. Quinney College of Law.

She prosecuted for 14 years as a Deputy Prosecutor in Ada County, 11 of which she focused on cases involving child abuse, child neglect, and termination of parental rights. She supervised the Child Protection Unit for 6 years and sat on the Governor's Task Force for Children at Risk for 5 years. She ended her career prosecuting felonies. 

Galen started Boise Law, PLLC in 2022 to focus on happier law. She is an experienced trial attorney, who now prefers to negotiate solutions when possible. Adoptions are her favorite as she loves the "happy" endings to child protection cases. She will also assist with guardianship, simple estate planning, informal probate, and name changes.
